MSCI names Hanshin Lee as head of Korea client coverage

Lee reports to Ryoya Terasawa, head of North Asia client coverage.

MSCI has appointed Hanshin Lee as head of Korea client coverage, effective 1 June 2026. Based in Seoul, Lee will lead the data firm’s Korea client coverage team, reporting to Ryoya Terasawa, head of North Asia client coverage.

Lee has over 25 years of experience across leading international and domestic financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, and Bank of America.

Throughout his career, he has developed broad coverage spanning a wide range of financial products and investment solutions, along with an extensive network among Korea’s major institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and insurance companies.

Terasawa, said: “Welcoming Hanshin to lead our Korea coverage is a reflection of our continued commitment to this market and our clients here.”
